Welcome!

Sometimes I wonder how I ever lived without a Thermomix before. Cooking is so much easier, faster and better now that I have my own super smart sous-chef, whom I like to call 'My Tech Chef.'

I learned about it from a friend quite a few years ago, but I resisted the idea of buying one. Why would I spend so much money on a kitchen robot if I could cook by myself? Also, I had many appliances already so I obviously didn't need what I thought was just another one! 

Well, little did I know how my life would change when I finally took the leap and purchased a Thermomix TM6. I was immediately heads over heels! What was not to love? 

A machine that not only cooks for me but even weighs the ingredients as they are being added to the recipes? Fewer dishes to wash, I'm all for that! 

A machine that self-cleans so I don't have to scrub pots and pans? Yeah, baby! 

A machine that makes the most amazing doughs for any kind of bread you can imagine? As a bread lover, a dream come true! 

A machine that can peel potatoes and whole heads of garlic? I used to buy minced garlic in a jar so having fresh peeled garlic cloves was huge! 

A machine that chops onions in just a few seconds? No more crying in the kitchen! 

A machine that makes sauces like hollandaise and béarnaise without me having to stand at the stove and stir for a single second? And risotto? And merengue? 

A machine that makes frozen fruit sorbets in 5 minutes and also ice cream? Oh la la! I'm in heaven! 

The list goes on and on! I love having people over at my house and now I can easily make quick favorites like hummus (5 min.), salsa (5 min.), and guacamole (10 min.), or drinks like margaritas (10 min.) or mint lemonade (5 min.) on the spot when friends show up for a spur of the moment visit.  I know I wouldn't be able to do it that quickly (and always good) if I didn't have my Thermomix, for sure. Also, it's so easy to whip something up with whatever ingredients you have available! 

Did I mention that I am madly in love with my Tech Chef? 😊
