Hello!

My name is Andrea. I am a Thermomix addict, :)

I moved from Chile to the Sacramento area in 1997 when I married a California native. Since then, I’ve joined a choir, raised twin daughters, become a full-time college professor, and met countless wonderful friends. 

When I first got married, cooking felt like a chore. Over time, I learned a few tricks, tried new recipes, and began enjoying it. But with a busy schedule, I often fell back on the same dishes. That all changed when I discovered Thermomix. I can say now that I absolutely love cooking, and I am trying new recipes all the time! What's not to love? 

How did I get into Thermomix?

I first heard about it from my friend Andrea in Chile, who couldn’t stop raving about her “kitchen robot.” I was curious, but it wasn't available in the U.S. When Thermomix finally arrived here, I was shocked by the price. I thought, “I don’t need this, I can cook already.”

Fast forward a few years and everything changed. In June of 2022 we visited Andrea and her family in England, where they now live. 

The day we arrived she made a full Chilean dinner: pastel de choclo, fresh bread, and dessert, all in under two hours. Knowing how long making such a meal by hand can take, I was impressed, to say the least. And it was effortless. I was sold on the spot!

In the next few days, Andrea prepared so many delicious meals and treats for us, and never spent too much time in the kitchen doing it. Then the important question came:  "Did I really need a Thermomix?" No, not really. But my birthday was right around the corner so ... why not ask for one as my birthday gift? ;)

I loved my Thermomix so much that I decided to become a consultant only three months after buying it. And here I am, still loving it, and wanting the world to know about it!
